FISH Unlimited is a national
clean water/fisheries conservation membership group with 8400+ members started in
1990. We are dedicated to returning our waters to health and to returning the stocks
of finfish and shellfish to their optimum health.
Our waters, both fresh and
salt which cover 75% of our planet are in trouble. The endless life forms that we depend
on for food and recreation are now threatened more than they ever have been by pollution
and overfishing.
FISH Unlimited
is the ONLY
conservation group dedicated entirely to the protection, preservation and perpetuation of
our finfish and shellfish, AND their respective environments. While
a broad goal, we are already accomplishing it by a series of efforts, all applicable to
the unique problems of various regions.
FISH Unlimited is
the only group that has successfully joined all voices in these issues, and by doing so
opening a untapped reservoir of knowledge that will continue to positively effect our
fisheries on a more unified, knowledgeable and united front.
